Abstract:
Portal hypertension(PH)may cause complications such as esophageal and gastric fundus variceal bleeding,splenomegaly and ascites,and the main interventional treatments include TIPS,percutaneous transhepatic variceal embolization,partial splenic artery embolization,as well as direct variceal embolization via spontaneous splenic-renal or gastrorenal shunts.The update of guidelines of interventional treatments for PH and clinical practice were reviewed in this article.
