Abstract:
Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is characterized by chronic intestinal inflammation, which includes Crohn′s disease and ulcerative colitis. The parenteral complications of IBD involve almost every system of the body. The most common complications involved in urinary system are kidney stones, tubulointerstitial nephritis, glomerulonephritis and amyloidosis. This article aims to summarize the latest research progress about the inflammatory bowel disease-associated urinary system complications
