Simultaneous content determination of fourteen constituents in Yueju Pills by HPLC

Abstract:
AIM To establish an HPLC method for the simultaneous content determination of geniposidic acid,ligustrazine,genipin-1-β-D-gentiobioside,chlorogenic acid,geniposide,ferulic acid,crocin Ⅰ,crocin Ⅱ,luteolin,senkyunolide A,Z-ligustilide,atractylenolide Ⅰ,α-cyperone and atractylodin in Yueju Pills.METHODS The analysis was performed on a 30 ℃ thermostatic Thermo AcclaimTM 120 C18 column (4.6 mm× 250 mm,5 μm),with the mobile phase comprising of acetonitrile-0.2％ formic acid flowing at 1.0 mL/min in a gradient elution manner,and the detection wavelength was set at 260 nm.RESULTS Fourteen constituents showed good linear relationships within their own ranges ( r≥0.9998),whose average recoveries were 86.30％-104.09％ with the RSDs of 1.45％-3.91％.CONCLUSION This simple,accurate and stable method can be used for the quality control of Yueju Pills.
