- Abstract: Blueberry muffin baby refers to the newborn with extensive purple and purplish-red round or oval macules, papules and nodules, and is the phenotype of various diseases. However, the symptoms of neonatal diseases are atypical, the condition changes rapidly, and the diagnosis is very challenging. To date, there have been very few research publications on blueberry muffin baby in China and other countries. This review summarizes the diseases that can manifest as blueberry muffin-like lesions, aiming to assist clinical practice and scientific research.
