Abstract:
Suicide is one of the important causes of death among children and adolescents.Suicide can be prevented，and adolescence is a critical period for prevention.The manifestations and prevalence of suicidal ideation and suicidal behavior exhibit obvious demographic characteristics.Suicide behavior is influenced by various factors such as cultural acceptability，accessibility of suicide methods，and the lethality of suicide methods.Poor family environment，stressful life events，and negative social relationships are all risk factors for suicide.Prevention strategies can be classified based on different populations and suicide risks，including universal prevention strategies，selective prevention strategies，and indicated prevention strategies.
