Abstract:
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the founding of Chinese Journal of Trauma (hereinafter referred to as the "Journal"). In past 40 years, the journal has achieved a sustainable development by continuously summarizing and refining the valuable experience of journal operation, enriching its content and improving its quality under the academic guidance of all the previous editorial boards. In this article, the authors briefly reviewed the development process of the Journal and elaborated on the conclusion of the development experience. In the future, the Journal will make utmost efforts to create a world-class journal of trauma medicine by attending to the forefront of trauma medicine, reporting the newest research results, and promoting academic exchanges and cooperation.
