Abstract:
In recent years, the association between gastrointestinal bleeding and frailty in the elderly has received increasing attention as clinical practice advances.Frailty has an important influence on adverse clinical outcomes in older patients with gastrointestinal bleeding.Choosing appropriate assessment tools for early identification of frailty, prevention and intervention of frailty is an important step of reducing the incidence of adverse outcomes in gastrointestinal bleeding.This article describes the relationship between gastrointestinal bleeding and frailty in older adults and personalized interventions.
