Abstract:
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Taohong Tongluo Granules in the intervention of patients with angina pectoris of qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)and evaluate quality of life of patients.Methods A total of 92 patients with angina pectoris of qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome after PCI for coronary heart disease were enrolled and divided into the experimental group and the control group according to random number table method,with 46 cases in each group.Both groups received conventional Western medicine treatment.The experimental group received Taohong Tongluo Granules,and the control group was given placebo,1 bag each time,twice a day,orally,for 12 weeks continuously.The angina pectoris symptom scores,the effective rate of angina pectoris treatment,TCM syndrome scores,inflammatory indexes(hs-CRP,IL-1β,IL-18),lipid metabolism indexes(TG,TC,LDL-C,HDL-C),and anxiety scores of the two groups before and after treatment were observed.In addition,the safety of Taohong Tongluo Granules was evaluated.Results During the study,2 cases in the experimental group were lost to follow-up,1 case in the control group was eliminated and 1 case was lost to follow-up.The total effective rate was 88.63%(39/44)in the experimental group and 47.72%(21/44)in the control group,and the experimental group was better than the control group(P<0.01).After treatment,the angina symptom score and TCM syndrome score in the experimental group decreased,and were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of inflammatory indexes(hs-CRP,IL-1β,IL-18)in the experimental group decreased,and were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);the levels of blood lipid metabolism indexes(TG,TC,LDL-C,HDL-C)in the experimental group were improved,and were significantly better than those in the control group(P<0.05).The anxiety state of the experimental group was significantly improved after treatment,and the effect was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).During the test,no adverse reactions such as dizziness,nausea,abdominal pain and diarrhea occurred in the two groups,and the safety was good.Conclusion Taohong Tongluo Granules can significantly improve the symptoms of angina pectoris and TCM syndromes in patients with angina pectoris of qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome after PCI,and reduce the anxiety state of patients,relieve the anxiety state of patients,reduce the inflammatory-related indexes such as hs-CRP,IL-1β and IL-18,further improve lipid metabolism,and ultimately improve the quality of life of patients.
