Hysteroscopy Combined With Laparoscopy in the Diagnosis and Treatment of 10 Cases of Intramural Pregnancy

Abstract:
Objective To explore the effect of hysteroscopy combined with laparoscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of intramural pregnancy.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on clinical data of 10 patients with intramural pregnancy treated with hysteroscopy and laparoscopy from January 2010 to December 2024.Among them,2 were diagnosed as tubal pregnancy,2 as cornual pregnancy,and 6 as intramural pregnancy before surgery.All the patients underwent a combination of hysteroscopy and laparoscopy,and intraoperative exploration confirmed the diagnosis of intramural pregnancy.The hysteroscopic or laparoscopic resection of the intramural pregnancy lesion was successfully performed.Results There were no perioperative complications.Follow-up visits were conducted at 1-3 months after surgery,and the postoperative hCG decreased to negative level.Conclusions Intramural pregnancy is easy to be misdiagnosed as tubal or cornual pregnancy,and the location of the gestational sac needs to be located based on imaging examinations before the operation.A combination of hysteroscopy and laparoscopy can be used to clarify the location of pregnancy,followed by pregnancy lesion resection.
