Abstract:
Heart failure is known as a complex clinical syndrome. Many studies have shown that insulin resistance is closely related to heart failure and is considered to be an important factor in heart failure. The triglyceride-glucose index(TyG) has been shown to be significantly associated with insulin resistance. An increasing number of studies have confirmed the relationship between TyG and various cardiovascular diseases. Heart failure is the end stage of multiple cardiovascular diseases. This article summarizes the correlation between TyG and the occurrence, development, and prognosis of heart failure, and discusses the shortcomings of the triglyceride glucose index in research, providing new ideas and strategies for the treatment of heart failure.
