Abstract:
Peripheral nerve injury is a common neurodegenerative disease that affects the motor and autonomic nervous system, leading to symptoms such as weakness, constipation, and blood pressure disorders.Axon regeneration is the basis for restoring nerve function, and acupuncture can mediate axonal regeneration to treat nerve injury. This article concluded the pathways of acupuncture mediated axonal regeneration therapy for peripheral nerve injury and indicated that acupuncture could regulate growth factors, axonal guiding molecules, and internal signaling pathways of neurons to mediate axonal regeneration therapy for nerve injury, achieving the goal of peripheral nerve injury repair. This could provide references for the mechanism research of acupuncture mediated axonal regeneration therapy for peripheral nerve injury.
