- Abstract: During "Mission Harmony 2018", the crew on the hospital ship were prone to various physiological and psychological reactions that affected their health. Based on the characteristics of the Mission, our own work experience on board, and the requirements for mental health support during the Mission, we summarized and reflected on our mental health support for the crew and the mental health service for the local people of the host countries. We believe that it is vital to support the mental health of the crew during a long oceangoing mission by formulating and carrying out psychological interventions and training according to the on-board environment and different legs of the voyage. We hope that this paper can provide a reference for the mental health service in future long oceangoing missions.
