Abstract:
Objective To analyze the research hotspots in the field of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) patient care at home and abroad in the past 10 years, aiming to provide a reference for related research. Methods Literature related to ECMO nursing collected in CNKI and Web of Science (WOS) databases from January 2013 to July 2023 was searched, journals and key words were visualized by CiteSpace software. Results A total of 192 foreign literatures and 730 Chinese literatures were included. In recent 10 years, the number of papers in the field of ECMO nursing at home and abroad has been on the rise. According to the visual analysis of China's publishing institutions. The visual analysis of key words in the field of nursing showed that the research in the field of ECMO patient care focuses on critical diseases related to the respiratory system and circulatory system. The research focused on acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS),coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19),prone ventilation, emergency nursing, etc. Conclusions Research hotspots in the field of ECMO patient care in China are changing dynamically with the development of social medicine, but the overall quality of research is low. It is necessary to strengthen the in-depth cooperation between various institutions in the field of ECMO patient care, learn from foreign experience, and promote the quality of ECMO nursing.
