Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the effect of medicinal diet on lymphocyte proliferative activity in nuclear-related special service convalescents. Methods:A total of 324 nuclear-related special service convalescents admitted in our center were randomly divided into common diet group ( n=157)and medicated diet group ( n=167). The lymphocyte proliferation activity and the lymphocyte proliferation activity after oxidative damage by hydrogen peroxide in each group were measured on admission and discharge. Results:There was no significant difference between the lymphocyte proliferation activities of the two groups on admission ( P>0.05). On discharge, the lymphocyte proliferation activity of the nuclear-related special service convalescents in the medicated diet group increased significantly than that of the common diet group ( P<0.01). After oxidant application in vitro, the lymphocyte proliferation activity of the nuclear-related special service convalescents in the medicated diet group increased significantly than that of the common diet group on discharge ( P<0.05). Conclusion:The routine nutritional diet combined with medicated diet can improve the proliferation activity of lymphocyte in nuclear-related special service convalescents.
