Abstract:
The “healthy China” strategy objectively proposes the requirement of discourse innovation of the quality of life (QoL) to continuously enhance the dynamic integration of health and socioeconomic development. Given the shift in research on health and QoL and theoretical deficiencies regarding intersubjectivity and interactive influences within the multi-dimensional relationships, the discourse logic of QoL oriented towards contemporary health issues and based on the basic framework of “physiological order, psychological dimension, and social conformity,” includes replacing simple physiological experience with the perception of physiological order, substituting simple psychological experience with the subject’s relatively stable psychological tendency, and replacing mere individual social adaptability with the understanding and interaction of individuals to social policies. It embodies the unity of life meaning and health value, as well as the unity of human subjectivity and the quantity of life and QoL, providing an innovative path to improve the QoL for the realization of people-centered, all-round, and whole-cycle health, and the integration of health into all policies. The new discourse emphasizes gaining a healthy life meaning and constructing a healthy social lifestyle, highlighting the consistency of value between the entire life cycle and the aspiration for a better life.
