Abstract:
A growing body of evidence points to the important role of exercise in reducing cancer risk,enhancing therapeutic efficacy,and improving prognosis.However,the cellular and molecular mechanisms by which exercise intervenes in cancer have not been fully elucidated.This review summarizes the effects of exercise on the tumor microenvi-ronment,cytokines,hormones,and the immune system in the hope of advancing our understanding of the mechanisms underlying exercise in cancer prevention and treatment.
