Abstract:
Transcatheter aortic valve replacement(TAVR)has emerged as a well-established treatment for severe aortic stenosis.Acute infective endocarditis(AIE)represents a rare severe com-plication following this procedure.Currently, there are no definitive guideline recommendations for management of such infective endocarditis(IE).This study presented a case of delayed thrombosis after TAVR,which subsequently developed into AIE.The patient eventually underwent surgical treat-ment and showed significant improvement.
