- Abstract: Visual impairment refers to the loss of visual acuity or reduction in visual field in both eyes due to various reasons.Patients with visual impairment experience fall fear,thereby causing ac-tivity limitation.This study reviewed the definition of fall fear,summarized the assessment tools for fall fear,and discussed the current research status and nursing progress regarding fall fear in patients with visual impairment,aiming to provide references for clinical nursing practice and research.
