- Abstract: Methicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus aureus(MSSA)bloodstream infections are associ-ated with high mortality rates.This study reviewed the current epidemiological status,pathogenic mechanisms,risk factors for infection,and novel treatment strategies for MSSA,providing a reference for early treatment of bloodstream infections.
