Abstract:
Seven black flies were collected by the staff of Qinhuangdao Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau at quarantine anchorage of Qinhuangdao Port on entry shipes which came from Korea,Indonesia,Taiwan of China and India from December,2004 to April,2005.These black flies were collected in the inner surface of ships lampshade,including 5 species,Simulium(Nevermannia)aureohirtum Brunetti,1911 from India and Indonesia,Simulium(Gomphostilbia)batoense Edwards,1934 from Indonesia,Simulium(Simulium)arakawae Motsumura,1915 from Korea,Simulium(Montisimulium)chowi Takaoka,1979 from Taiwan of China,and Simulium(Gomphostilbia)sumatraense sp.nov.Simulium(Gomphostilbia)sumatraense sp.nov.collected on M.T."Jian She 33",which came from Sumatra,Indonesia,was authenticated by classification.All the specimens are kept in the Medical Entomology Collection Gallery,Academy of Military Medical Sciences,Beijing
