Abstract:
Transarterial chemoembolization(TACE)has been well recognized as the preferred treatment for non-surgical resection of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),while hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy(HAIC)is another effective interventional method. Many studies on TACE and HAIC treatment for HCC have been reported, which has aroused widespread debate in the medical field.Reasonable combination use of HAIC and TACE is defined as infusion transarterial chemoembolization(iTACE).This paper aims to make a comprehensive introduction about iTACE,focusing on its concept, applied method, indications and contraindications, efficacy and adverse reactions, combination with targeted immunotherapy, etc. It is expected that this paper will provide useful reference for the promotion and application of iTACE in clinical practice.
