Safety of Jintiange capsule in treating bone and joint diseases:a Meta-analysis

Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the clinical safety of Jintiange capsule in the treatment of diseases of the bone and joints.Methods Five electronic databases(including the China Science and Technology Journal Database(VIP),Wanfang Data,China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),PubMed,and ScienceDirect database were retrieved from their inception to November 1,2021.And relevant journals were manually retrieved.Clinical studies on Jintiange capsule for the treatment of diseases of the bone and joints were collected.The quality of the included literatures was evaluated by the Cochrane risk bias assessment tool and the Jadad scale.Meta-analysis was performed by RevMan 5.3.5 software provided by the Cochrane Collaboration.Results A total of 96 literatures were retrieved,and 40 literatures(4 319 patients)were included in this study.Adverse reactions of Jintiange capsule were compared between the study group and control group in these 40 literatures.There was homogeneity between research results(I2= 29%,P=0.05).The safety of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group(Z=3.75,P=0.000 2;OR= 0.68,95%CI:0.56,0.83).The funnel plot showed that the experimental relsearches were scattered on both sides of the vertical line with a relatively uniform distribution,and there was no publication bias of these studies.Conclusion Jintiange capsule can effectively improve the symptoms and is safe for patients with diseases of the bone and joints,and has high chinical promotion value.
