Abstract: Objective To investigate the diagnosis value of ROC curve on the serum cystatin C (CysC) of early renal function injury in patients with essential hypertension.Methods 290 cases of essential hypertension persons were divided into two groups by the results of urinary Albumin/Creatinine ratio(ACR).The diagnostic cut-off value was determined by ROC curve.Results When the cut-off value was 1.22,the ROC curve had the largest area under the curve(AUC) of 0.944,the sensitivity was 92％,specificity was 89.36％,the positive predictive value was 90.2％ and the negative predictive value was 91.3％.Conclusion The value of serum Cys C which is higher than 1.22 mg/1 can be used as important indicator for early diagnosis of kidney injury in patients with essential hypertension.
