Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effect of gamma knife on advanced liver cancer patients with MRI diffusion-weighted imaging (MRI-DWI).Methods MRI-DWI detection was performed in 100 liver cancer patients 1-2 days before gamma knife therapy,7 days and 30 days after gamma knife therapy. Then, comparisons were made between the dynamic changes of ADC values before and after gamma knife therapy under different b-values.Results Under different b values, significant changes in the average ADC values of foci could be noted, before and after gamma knife therapy, and the average ADC values increased with the increase of the b value(P < 0.05).Following gamma knife therapy, the average ADC values of foci all increased as compared with those before therapy.Thirty days after treatment, the average ADC values of foci were increased as compared with those 7 days after treatment. Conclusion ADC value changes after gamma knife therapy in the treatment of advanced liver cancer were closely related with tumor necrosis, and ADC values could be used for the assessment of the efficacy of gamma knife therapy.
