Abstract:
Objective To analyze changes in blood pressure of patients with diabetic nephropathy in the process of hemodial-ysis and related care measures. Methods The clinical data of 40 cases of diabetic nephropathy admitted into the Nephrology Depart-ment of our hospital from January 2013 to September 2014 were analyzed statistically. Results The incidence of hypotension in the process of hemodialysis for the study group was 32.5% (13 /40),which was significantly higher than that of the control group 12.5%(5 /40)(P <0.05).At the start of dialysis, average decline in systolic blood pressure at hours 1,2 and 3 were significantly higher than those of the control group (P <0.05).Incidence of nausea and vomiting, sudden loss of consciousness,yawning,snoring,apa-thy,lethargy and symptomlessness were all significantly higher than those of the control group (P <0.05).Conclusion Diabetic ne-phropathy patients were prone to have hypotension in the process of hemodialysis, with a higher rate of pressure decline, and complex and diverse clinical manifestations in blood pressure.Effective measures should be taken to give better care of such patients.
