Abstract:
Chronic pelvic pain in the females is a common disease caused by complicated etiological factors,significantly affecting the quality of life of the patients.Professor Zhu Ling contends that the menopausal females have the physiological characteristics of gradual decline of the five zang-organs and deficiency of both yin and yang,in particular deficiency of yang.Yang deficiency fails in promoting qi transformation,and then gives rise to dampness,heat,and stasis,resulting in the complex pathogenesis of intermingled cold and heat,and deficiency mingling with excess for chronic pelvic pain in menopausal females.For the treatment of chronic pelvic pain in menopausal females,Professor Zhu Ling employs the modified Wumei Pills,a principal formula for treating jueyin disease,to warm and promote yang qi,clear heat and eliminate dampness,remove blood stasis,and alleviate pain.
