Abstract:
By sorting out the management institutions, legislative system and training mode of Singapore's TCM practitioners, comparing the current situation in China, this article analyzed the institutional differences between the two countries and the existing problems in China. The Singapore Parliament passed the Chinese Medicine Practitioner Management Act, established the Chinese Medicine Management Committee (TCMPB), and established a three-dimensional management system for TCM. It adopts a five-stage clinical training model for TCM students; establishes a classified registration system to provide conditional registration for foreign doctors; publicizes the practice information of doctors to pay attention to the examination of the medical ability and medical ethics of TCM practitioners; implements continuing education with credit system, adopts multiple teaching methods, and certifies the curriculum institutions and lecturers; improves the enthusiasm of practitioners through financial support and career development guidance. There are some problems in the management of TCM practitioners in China, such as insufficient clinical practice ability of TCM graduates, opaque registration supervision, imperfect continuing education system, incomplete supervision of management institutions, and imperfect moral and humanistic supervision. Singapore's relevant management experience can be learned to improve the supervision and management of doctors' ethics, improve the registration and supervision system, build a standardized continuing education system and incentive mechanism, and promote the legalization and standardization of TCM industry.
