Abstract:
Ischemic stroke is a serious nervous system disease characterized by high incidence, high disability and high mortality. Researches have shown that the interleukin-33/ST2 pathway plays a critical role in the pathophysiological process of stroke. This article summarizes the role and mechanism of the IL-33/ST2 pathway in ischemic stroke, as well as its potential as a therapeutic target, hopping to provide new treatment strategies for ischemic stroke.
