Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To explore the application of tinnitus function index scale(TFI)and tinnitus handicap inventory(THI)in the effect evaluation of subjective tinnitus multiple superposition integrated sound treatment.METHODS A total of 269 subjective tinnitus patients were included in the study.T-MIST was applied to tinnitus patients for fine-tuned matching and sound therapy,and two scales were used to evaluate the therapeutic effect,and the consistency of TFI and THI in the evaluation of the efficacy of multiple superposition integrated sound therapy in subjective tinnitus patients were compared.STATA 17.0 software was used for data analysis.RESULTS There was good consistency between TFI and THI in the evaluation of tinnitus treatment,κ value was 0.650(P<0.001).The positive predictive value of TFI score was 73.7%,the negative predictive value was 91.1%,the sensitivity was 89.1%,and the specificity was 78.0%.TFI and THI were significantly changed before and after treatment(P<0.05).The effective rate of TFI assessment was 49.4%,and the effective rate of THI assessment was 40.9%,and the difference was not statistically significant.In the group with no improvement in THI score,TFI subscales(sense of control,sleep,quality of life)showed a similar improvement trend as that in the effective group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION TFI and THI have good consistency in the evaluation of acoustic therapy efficacy in subjective tinnitus patients,and TFI can more sensitively measure the clinical efficacy of patients from different dimensions,so it is recommended to be used as a tool to evaluate therapeutic efficacy in clinical treatment.
