Abstract: Dengue fever is an arboviral infectious disease caused by the dengue virus(DENV),primarily transmitted by Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes.In recent years,due to factors such as climate change,accelerated urbanization and frequent international travel,this has led to a significant increase in new cases and mortality rates.The early symptoms of dengue fever lack specificity,which leads to be difficult for early diagnosis.At present,there is no specific anti-DENV drug,and in clinical practice,the supportive therapy is the main approach.This article reviews the latest epidemiological situation,biomarker screening,antiviral drug study and development,and prevention and control strategies for dengue fever.It emphasizes the impor-tance of identifying the effective biomarkers and accelerating the study and development of antiviral drugs in order to provide the scientific evidence and technical support for more effective prevention and control meas-ures to address the public health challenges posed by dengue fever.
