Abstract:
Inflammatory diseases are a group of disorders caused by abnormal activation of the immune system, including autoimmune diseases, chronic inflammatory bowel disease, metabolic inflammatory diseases, and periodontitis. The transcription factor purine rich box-1(PU.1)plays an important role in the development and progression of inflammatory diseases by regulating the development and differentiation of immune cells and related inflammatory signaling pathways. In recent years, studies have gradually revealed the cen-tral role of PU.1 in inflammatory response and highlighted its clinical application value as a potential therapeutic target. This article systematically summarizes the biological features and regulatory mechanisms of PU.1,explores its role in inflammatory response and common inflammatory diseases, and analyzes its clinical application strategies,in order to provide a reference for future research and clinical application.
