Abstract: Contracted noses, one of the complications of rhinoplasty, have gravely reduced the effect of surgeries and hindered patients′ prognosis. Since the restoration of contracted noses has always been difficult in clinical treatments, precautions and treatments targeting post-surgical contracted noses hold great clinical significance. This consensus is jointly written by experts from multiple hospitals across China, and intended for instructing clinical staff to carry out precautions and treatments of this symptom scientifically and standardized. The content of this consensus includes the definition, causes of formation, and clinical manifestations of contracted noses, as well as non-surgical or injection-intervening precautions and treatments of the disease.
