Abstract:
Objective:To construct risk assessment scale for postoperative delirium after ischemic stroke and test its reliability and validity. Methods:The preliminary draft of the risk assessment scale for postoperative delirium after ischemic stroke was developed by literature search, brainstorming and Delphi method. The convenient sampling method was used to select 160 ischemic stroke patients hospitalized in three tertiary hospitals in Zhumadian City from January 2020 to January 2021 for investigation, and item analysis, reliability and validity test were conducted on the draft scale. Results:The risk assessment scale for postoperative delirium after ischemic stroke was constructed, consisting of three dimensions and 13 items. The content validity index of item level was 0.812-0.962, and the content validity index of scale level was 0.956. The exploratory factor analysis results showed that the KMO value of the scale was 0.922, and approximate χ 2 value of Bartlett's test of sphericity was 2 105.652 ( P<0.01). The factor loadings of 13 items were all greater than 0.40, and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 74.221%. Cronbach's α coefficient of the total scale was 0.931, the split-half reliability was 0.823, and the intraclass correlation coefficient of the retest reliability was 0.826. Conclusions:The constructed risk assessment scale for postoperative delirium after ischemic stroke has high reliability and validity, which can be used to assess the risk of postoperative delirium after ischemic stroke.
