Abstract:
Objective:To explore the research hotspots on chat generative pre-trained transformer (ChatGPT), so as to provide reference for promoting nursing education and teaching reform. Methods:CiteSpace software was used to conduct bibliometric analysis on ChatGPT related literature from the Web of Science core collection database and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), including publishing countries, authors, institutions, co cited journals, and keyword clustering. Results:A total of 651 English articles and 1 572 Chinese articles were included. There was collaboration among authors and institutions from various countries. The journal with the most co cited articles was Nature. The research hotspots mainly focused on education and teaching, intelligent communication, and digital economy. Conclusions:Research based on ChatGPT is rapidly increasing, and cooperation between countries needs to be further strengthened. Researchers have applied ChatGPT to the education, teaching, and media industries, as well as promoting the development of the digital economy. It is recommended that nursing educators explore the application of ChatGPT in virtual simulation teaching, intelligent teaching evaluation, and intelligent question and answer platforms, providing reference for promoting digital education.
