Abstract:
Patients with prostate cancer interact with masculinity, which can be threatened during cancer diagnosis and treatment, leading to negative mental health outcomes. The impaired masculinity can be reshaped or repaired through self-regulation and external support. This article reviews the current research status of masculinity in prostate cancer patients, aiming to provide a basis for medical staff to help prostate cancer patients establish positive and diverse masculinity, improve mental health, and also provide reference for promoting relevant research in China.
