Abstract:
Parents are the most important family caregivers and social support source for children with congenital heart disease (CHD). Identifying and meeting the needs of parents at different stages of treatment for children is of great significance for improving their physical and mental health and care abilities, promoting the recovery of children, and enhancing nursing satisfaction. This article takes the treatment stage of CHD children as the context, elaborates on the phased needs and intervention strategies of parents of CHD children, emphasizes the need for specialist nurses to combine the needs and characteristics of their parents at different treatment stages of the children, strengthen nurse led professional support, explore the development of personalized nursing practices centered on the family, and continuously strengthen systematic and information-based continuous nursing.
