- Abstract: The incidence of diabetic foot is increasing year by year,which is one of the serious chronic complications leading to disability and death in diabetic patients.After controlling the overall blood glucose level of diabetic foot patients,the management of local wounds should not be neglected.According to the theory of wound healing,various dressings for diabetic foot ulcer wounds are widely used in the clinical practice,including hydrogel dressing,foam dressing,alginate dressing,silver ion dressing,growth factor-containing dressing,etc.The rational application of dressings is very important for the healing of foot ulcer wounds in diabetic patients.According to different conditions the standardized application of various dressings can have a positive impact on the prognosis of patients.This paper will summarize the commonly used dressings and their practical application,in order to provide reference for the selection of clinical dressings.
