Abstract:
Objective:To explore the effect of Tai Ji training in stroke patients with type 2 diabetes. Methods:From October 2019 to December 2020, 76 stroke patients with type 2 diabetes admitted to Zhumadian Central Hospital were selected by convenience sampling. The patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group with 38 cases each. The control group received routine rehabilitation training, while the observation group carried out Tai Ji training on the basis of routine rehabilitation training. The scores of Trunk Impairment Scale (TIS), Berg Balance Scale (BBS), Fugl-Meyer Assessment of Motor Function (FMA), Functional Ambulation Classification (FAC), three-dimensional gait space-time and phase parameters (gait speed, gait frequency, stride length ratio) were compared between the two groups before and after the intervention. Results:After intervention, the TIS score, BBS score, FMA score, FAC grade, gait speed, gait frequency, stride length ratio in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistical differences ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Tai Ji training can improve the limb balance and motor ability of stroke patients with type 2 diabetes, and enhance their trunk function and walking ability.
