Abstract:
Frailty is a common geriatric syndrome that can lead to increased risk of adverse health outcomes such as disability, falls, hospitalization and death in the elderly. It is a major factor leading to functional decline and early death in the elderly, but it is potentially reversible. Early identification and active intervention can improve or delay the progression of frailty. At present, non-drug intervention is considered to be the most important intervention means for the frailty elderly, among which exercise and nutrition are important aspects. This article reviews the research progress of exercise and nutrition intervention on the improvement of senile frailty, in order to provide references for the improvement or delay of senile frailty.
