Abstract:
Objective:To analyze the application effect of empowerment incentive intervention in enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) nursing of patients undergoing oral and maxillofacial day surgery. Methods:Using the convenient sampling method, a total of 240 patients undergoing oral and maxillofacial day surgery who were admitted to Daytime Ward of Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine from February to May 2021 were selected as the research objects. The 120 patients admitted from February to March 2021 were set as the control group, while 120 patients admitted from April to May 2021 were set as the observation group. The control group was given routine ERAS nursing intervention, while the observation group was given empowerment incentive intervention on this basis. The readiness for hospital discharge was compared between the two groups. Results:The total score and each dimension scores of Readiness for Hospital Discharge Scale (RHDS) in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were all statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Empowerment incentive intervention has a certain effect in ERAS nursing of patients undergoing oral and maxillofacial day surgery, which can improve readiness for hospital discharge of patients.
