The general information questionnaire, Emotional Intelligence Scale and Sense of Career Success Scale were used to investigate them. MPlus 7.0 software was used to analyze the latent class of emotional intelligence among community nurses and SPSS 19.0 software was used to analyze the relationship between emotional intelligence and sense of career success. Results:A total of 380 questionnaires were distributed, 352 valid questionnaires were recovered, and the effective recovery rate was 92.63%. The latent class analysis showed that the emotional intelligence of community nurses had obvious classification characteristics, supporting 3 potential category models ( P<0.01) , namely self-awareness, intermediate and negative response. Logistic regression analysis showed that cooperation satisfaction and nurse-patient satisfaction were the influencing factors of self-perceived emotional intelligence of community nurses ( P<0.05) ; children was the influencing factor of intermediate emotional intelligence ( P<0.05) . There were positive correlation between the total score and scores of all dimensions of emotional intelligence and sense of career success score of community nursing staff ( P<0.01) . There were statistically significant differences in the total score of sense of career success and the scores of all dimensions of community nursing staff of different potential categories ( P<0.01) . Managers can promote the transformation of emotional intelligence from negative reaction type to self-awareness type through targeted measures.
