Abstract:
Objective:To explore the effect of pelvic floor muscle exercise in patients after cervical cancer surgery. Methods:From June 2019 to May 2021, convenience sampling was used to select 163 patients with bladder dysfunction in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University who underwent radical resection of cervical cancer 3 months after surgery. The patients were divided into the experimental group (81 cases) and the control group (82 cases) by random number table method. The control group received routine nursing, while the experimental group received pelvic floor muscle exercise on the basis of routine nursing. The bladder function and quality of life of the two groups were compared using the Mesure du Handicap Urinaire (MHU) and Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy Cervical Cancer (FACT-CX) .Results:The MHU total score, urinary urgency, nocturnal urination frequency, and stress urinary incontinence dimension scores of the patients after cervical cancer surgery in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.01) . After intervention, the FACT-CX total score and each dimension score of patients with cervical cancer in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Pelvic floor muscle exercise can not only improve the bladder function of patients after cervical cancer surgery, but also effectively improve the quality of life of patients, which is worthy of clinical application.
