Abstract:
Objective:To explore the application effect of humidified high-flow oxygen therapy during weaning form ventilation in tracheotomy patients. Methods:Using the convenient sampling method, a total of 80 patients with tracheotomy who were treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from September 2019 to August 2020 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into observation group and control group by the random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were provided with ordinary bubble oxygen humidification device after weaning, while patients in the observation group were provided with high-flow humidified oxygen therapy device after weaning. The sputum viscosity after weaning and the success rate of weaning were compared between the two groups. Results:The sputum viscosity of the observation group after weaning was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( Z=2.221, P=0.026) . The success rate of weaning in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (χ 2=5.952, P=0.015) . Conclusions:Humidified high-flow oxygen therapy can reduce the sputum viscosity of tracheotomy patients after weaning and improve the success rate of weaning.
