Abstract:
Objective:To explore the correlation between psychological screening indicators (post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression) three months after being transferred out of ICU and early psychological screening of elderly patients in the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit. Methods:From February to September 2019, convenience sampling was used to select 240 elderly patients transferred from the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit in a ClassⅢ Grade A hospital in Shandong Province. The General Information Questionnaire, Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) , Post-traumatic Stress Disorder Checklist-Civilian Version (PCL-C) were used for investigation one week after the transfer (early psychological screening) and three months after the transfer. Spearman rank correlation analysis was used to explore the correlation between early psychological screening of patients and the psychological status three months after transfer, and the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to determine the accuracy of predicting psychological symptoms. Results:A total of 210 elderly patients in the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit completed the follow1up. Correlation analysis showed that the scores of post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and depression of elderly patients in the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit one week after transfer were positively correlated with the scores three months after transfer ( r=0.492, 0.525, 0.647; P<0.01) . The ROC of the early evaluation showed that the areas under the curve of the PCL-C, the anxiety subscale in the HADS and the depression subscale in the HADS were 0.918, 0.865 and 0.948, respectively. Conclusions:The post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and depression in elderly patients in the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit three months after transfer is positively correlated with the results of early psychological screening within one week after transfer. The prediction effect of this study is good, and it can provide a reference for clinical treatment and formulation of nursing measures to prevent psychological symptoms.
