Abstract:
Currently,there is an urgent need to develop new antimicrobial drugs or materials to treat drug-resistant bacterial infectious diseases.The reactive oxygen species(ROS)responsive nano-drug delivery systems hold great significance for bacterial infection treatment.This paper reviewed polymeric,inorganic,and composite ROS-responsive nano-drug delivery systems.It discussed synergistic treatment using these systems with photothermal therapy,photodynamic therapy,sonodynamic therapy,and gas therapy.It outlines new trends in these systems for bacterial infectious disease treatment.
