Abstract:
Pain management in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) after general anesthesia is getting more and more attention, but there is still a problem of under-assessment. This article reviews the current status and common assessment tools of pain assessment in PACU after general anesthesia at home and abroad. It is found that accurate assessment of the pain degree and characteristics of patients in PACU after general anesthesia is helpful for timely evaluation and adjustment of patients' perioperative analgesia plan.
