Abstract:
The patents of aerosol protective equipment applied in hospital scenarios in China published in the patent database of the State Intellectual Property Office(SIPO)were collected from the establishment of the database to September 14,2023,and patent analysis and related mapping were carried out in terms of the number of patents applied,the subject matter of the patents,the international patent classification and the main points of the patent technologies.It's found in spite of a number of patents for aerosol protective equipment in hospitals in China,there were deficiencies in the design and the equipment was rarely applied clinically.Future R&D should focus on hospital protection needs,protection performance,wearing comfort,equipment versatility and patent transformation and application.[Chinese Medical Equipment Journal,2024,45(5):75-79]
