Abstract:
?? [Abstract]? Objective? To explore the status of followership behavior and self-uncertainty among junior nurses, and the correlation between them, so as to provide reference for managers in making effective intervention strategies to reduce the junior nurses' self-uncertainty. Methods? From May 1st to July 30th of 2018,three ClassⅢ Grade A hospitals in Wenzhou were selected by purposive sampling and the first-line clinical junior nurses working in the hospitals were selected as the participants in this study. Data was collected by Followership Behavior Questionnaire and Self-uncertainty Questionnaire. Totally 654 questionnaires were distributed and 629 valid ones were retrieved, yielding an effective recovery rate of 96.18%. Results? The total score of the 629 junior nurses in followership behavior and self-uncertainty were (77.47±9.18) and (58.57±8.42),single factor analysis result indicated that there was statistical difference in the self-uncertainty score between junior nurses with different sex, working length, monthly income (P< 0.05). Correlation analysis showed that, the total score of followership behavior was negatively correlated with the total score of self-uncertainty and each dimensional scores(P< 0.05). Conclusions? The higher the level of followership behavior of junior nurses, the lower the level of self-uncertainty. Therefore, managers should improve the level of followership behavior of junior nurses, so as to reduce the level of self-uncertainty and improve the quality of nursing work.
