Abstract:
Effective communication and team work are the keys to improve medical quality and guarantee patient safety. The establishment of effective communication mechanism to improve physician-nurse communication has become important among the national and international hospital accreditation standards of patient's safety goals. This article summarizes the application of situation-background-assessment-recommendation (SBAR) communication mode in team cooperation between physicians and nurses in order to achieve better reference and guidance in further research.
