Abstract:
Objective To investigate the application effects of clinical pathway teaching method in the blood purification nursing pre-job training. Methods A total of 40 new nurses in Center of Blood Purification from July 2011 to July 2013 were randomly admitted to either intervention group (n=20) or control group (n=20). The nurses in the control group adopted routine tutor system and the intervention group received clinical pathway teaching method. 12 weeks after the training, outcome quality was measured and analyzed. Results The scores of the technique and theory in experimental group and control group, and discovered that score of the intervention group was better to the control group [(87. 43 ± 5. 83) vs (90. 45 ± 5. 26)], there was distinct difference between the two groups (P<0. 01). In the intervention group, 18 of the nursing students were satisfied with the teaching, and that of the control group was 11 (P<0. 05). Conclusions The clinical pathway teaching method is effective in improving the quality of blood purification nursing pre-job training.
